EpiDMA
Product Overview:
Identification of Substance:
CAS #:
EpiDMA, an epichlorohydrin-dimethylamine polymer, is a cationic polyelectrolyte used across water treatment and paper manufacturing applications. It is commonly employed as a coagulant and flocculant in municipal and industrial water treatment, where its cationic charge neutralizes negatively charged suspended particles to improve clarification. Additionally, it serves as a retention and drainage aid in pulp and paper manufacturing, improving fiber and filler retention during the papermaking process. EpiDMA is also utilized in wastewater treatment applications requiring an effective, high-charge-density polymer. Furthermore, it finds applications in general chemical manufacturing processes requiring a cationic polymer flocculant.
